The course is an out and back with a loop between miles 3 and 6. It begins in the driveway of Rush Strong School and heads northeast on Old Andrew Johnson Highway, turns left on Big Bend Road, and goes under the Railroad underpass. Then it bears right onto Bluff Road. At 3.3 miles, it turns left on Beaver Creek and keeps to the right until Loy Road where it bears left, turning right back onto Beaver Creek. Continue on Beaver Creek until turning left on Day Road. Just beyond the 8 mile mark, it turns around, then turns right on Beaver Creek, left on Bluff Road, left on Big Bend, right on Old Andrew Johnson Highway, and finally left into the Rush Strong School driveway to finish at the first brick column. -- Frank and Donna Murphy, former race directors
